Treatment

IVF & fertility

Difficulty having a child is common and can be very hard to talk about. Fertility specialists in India review the tests of both partners and explain, privately and respectfully, which treatment is most suitable.

Conditions we can help with

  • Difficulty conceiving after a year or more of trying
  • Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
  • Male factor infertility (low sperm count or quality)
  • PCOS and ovulation problems
  • Endometriosis and fibroids
  • Repeated miscarriages
  • Low ovarian reserve

Treatments and procedures

  • Fertility assessment for both partners
  • Intrauterine insemination (IUI)
  • In vitro fertilisation (IVF) and ICSI
  • Frozen embryo transfer
  • Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for fibroids, polyps, endometriosis or tubes

Availability of a technique depends on the hospital and on your case.

Your journey

How it usually goes

  1. 1

Send both partners’ test results for a free, confidential review.

  2. 2

The specialist proposes a plan and an estimate; some medicines can start at home.

  3. 3

In India: scans to follow the ovaries, then egg collection and fertilisation in the laboratory.

  4. 4

Embryo transfer, then the pregnancy test about two weeks later, often back home.

How long you may stay in India

As general guidance: one IVF cycle usually needs about two to three weeks in India, depending on when the stimulation medicines are started. Both partners are normally needed for part of the stay. Your clinic gives a schedule for your plan.

General guidance only. Every case is different, and the hospital gives its own estimate for you.

What to send for a free review

  • Woman: AMH, FSH, LH, prolactin and thyroid tests, pelvic ultrasound
  • Man: recent semen analysis
  • Tube test (HSG) and any surgery reports
  • Reports of any previous IUI or IVF cycles

Clear phone photos are fine to start with. Please don’t post medical details on public social media.

Good to know

Assisted reproduction in India is regulated by the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021 and the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021. Under current rules, surrogacy is not available to foreign nationals. The clinic explains which rules apply to your situation.

No clinic can promise a pregnancy. Results depend on age and on the cause of infertility.

A word of honesty: no one can promise a cure. The treating doctors decide the treatment, and results differ from patient to patient. What we promise is clear information, respect and support at every step.
